Short History
KAFA Association was formed in 2016 by funding of late chairman Ham (Ottogi: Co.,Ltd) in Korea. The Myanmar University Establishment Committee (MUEC) was formed as a major mission project with four members and a local office in Myanmar was opened soon after.
The committee then invited Yangon University (YU) and Yangon University of Education (YUE) to discuss training programs and the establishment for a new university with MOE.
In 2017 MOU between KAFA and the Ministry of Education (MOE) Myanmar was signed. In 2019 KAFA and Yangon University of Distance Education (YUDE) signed a MOU to start a joint online institution in YUDE.
KAFA has been working and cooperating with the Ministry as well as local organizations to help local educators in general by online system in Myanmar. We believe that online based university education will help the future of Myanmar.
